Future Fire 04:09
Future Fire give me a change of scene maybe a shot of something strong this town will be the death of me but I've lived here for so long I need a fresh perspective just beyond our mountain range I'm not afraid of change timber the dying industrial heart of our fair state coal mines the black machinery drew poison through our veins steelhead once ran these rivers 'til we dammed them all it's plain we're not afraid of change we're not afraid but clear as a bell (I see the fog is lifting) in time truth will tell (I feel the sand is shifting) lies from the lips (I know the tide is turning) that betray with a kiss (a future fire is burning) progress sounds simple but under the surface nothing is look back three generations when a man hung from this bridge fighting for labor we the stillborn sons of the modern age are not afraid of change we're not afraid but I'm not afraid of change I'm not afraid of change I'm not afraid but darling the plain and simple truth is all men are to blame those who don't follow through where their hearts yearn just serve their pain I'm getting out of this nowhere bound victim's history train I'm not afraid of change

about

"Gravity's Pull" is the second EP by The Breaking. It sheds the lo-fi psych approach of their debut EP "Current Through the Wire" in favor of a more polished approach, incorporating synthesizer, ambient effects, and crunchy electric guitar hooks into their 90s-influenced alt pop sound.
